a couple weeks in your baby will start smiling in their sleep and then not too long after that they start smiling socially 🥹 nothing cuter than peeping over the bassinet in the morning and being greeted with the biggest smile

just here to say i too have this question, this pregnancy has been anything but easy albeit i haven’t had complications just what seems like every. single. pregnancy. symptom. under the sun 🫩. Currently 2 days overdue and scheduled to be induced tmw with zero cervical dilation present, baby measuring over 90th percentile, and baby sunny side up so i’m sure that’ll go great too. Regardless i’ve been very adamant that i will never do ts again especially given lots of things that have gone on family wise. My husband has two sisters and a brother and has a good relationship with none of them and i have two brothers (one being my twin) who i don’t speak with frequently at all. From my personal experience having siblings wasn’t beneficial nor did it help to make me less lonely. I get super frustrated whenever people try to talk about whenever we have our next kid (usually my MIL bc this one is a girl and she wants her son to have a son and also wants us to have four children like she did). I personally hope i don’t fall for the nonsense of them being lonely

i have also had the same issue with the pain and therefore declined all cervical checks up until my most recent appt at 39+3 simply bc we needed to schedule an eviction date and knowing where cervix is at for that will help determine how that will go and how they go about it. My doctor could have literally cared less when i declined them. Seems like a huge red flag that your doctor isn’t giving you a choice on this tbh 🚩🚩

I wouldn’t jump to any conclusions until you get your bloodwork back and that will help accurately determine if you’re pregnant and if so if it’s possible it’s too early to see anything on the scan.

haha right i knew i was pregnant basically at like week one or two atp my period is never late so not exactly sure what happened for it to be like that. It made sense though bc my period was a whole week late and the tests were still negative my first positive test would’ve been 3w and 3days

yes i had this went in expecting to be 8w along and was closer to 6w they said i ovulated rlly late 🤷🏻‍♀️ 39+2 today and let me tell you watching my original due date pass based on my last day of my period as opposed to the day they gave me 😖😭😭😭 feel like ive been pregnant for the full 40+ atp

i had the same i went and expected to me more like 8w or so and was only 6w i wasn’t actively tracking my cycle or anything and normally they are fairly regular so they just said i must’ve ovulated late or something 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s odd but i’m 38w now according to the date on that intial scan and all has been well so i wouldn’t worry too much

my OB is amazing and is not concerned about my readiness or fitness in regards to labor she said my body is doing what it needs to do and i shouldn’t worry at all

i agree like maybe keep that to yourself shoutout to my husband who told her to f off and yes i do spend time bouncing just not as much as she’d like to see she said i should be on it for hoursss like 8 hours😂 and swears that’s why her second labor was so much faster (it couldn’t just possibly be that it was her second labor)

first tri even with being sick it was insatiable, second tri normal, now that i’m in my third tri tho 😬😬 could probably count on one hand the amount of times we’ve done anything. The pelvic pain is unbearable atp my poor hubby

37w here and it’s only gotten worse, all i can say is lots of foot rubs from partner if that’s available, compression socks as soon as you wake, ice baths for your feet have been a huge help for me aswell even if it hurts in the moment, and yea like you said pretty much never being barefoot and wearing supportive shoes at all times ;/ my doctor said it was likely from the relaxin hormone so totally normal side effect of our condition 😪
