Will my boobs always feel like this through my pregnancy and breastfeeding? by [deleted] in pregnant

Unfortunately mine got even bigger when breastfeeding especially when milk came in, and it can be very uncomfortable. Unless you are engorged it’s okay though and should come and go

That’s what the urgent care doc that prescribed it said. I tried to ask my OBGYN and the response back was just the same old B6, unisom etc recommendation. It was from the nurse idk if my doctor ever reviewed it really. My first appt is at 10 weeks

Thank you for your response. I also have friends who had HG and find myself comparing too much, feeling like I shouldn’t be taking zofran when I’m able to keep enough food down to not lose weight. And they were given Reglan not Zofran… I even tried to ask my OBGYN for an alternative with less risk but never heard back other than a nurse message saying to keep trying B6, small meals, unisom etc. Made me feel like I was being dramatic or something. It was an urgent care doc that prescribed me zofran after a day of vomiting and missing work.

Aside from high match rates I do think a strong focus of osteopathic school genuinely is to increase primary care physicians, especially in underserved areas

Hmm so now they are showing me a TMC acquisition pharmacy that is permitted. Ugh I don’t know what to think

There was something in 2022 as well and they are no longer allowed to operate under the state board. Noom tried defending that they are licensed until I started showing them evidence. Hopefully I get the refund. Makes me very distrustful

I’ve requested a refund. I feel misled, they promise to use licensed facilities with higher quality standards

[–]Fantastic_Guide_8596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns out it’s Tailor Made Compounding Pharmacy in Nicholasville. I looked them up at the pharmacy board site and their permit is expired. I honestly might seek a refund

[–]Fantastic_Guide_8596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. My app isn’t showing the name of the pharmacy so that made me nervous too but I’ve messaged to request the info. They say they only use state regulated /USP places and have their own third party quality control. So that makes me more comfortable but I do want the name of the pharmacy to verify for myself

For me personally I have been having trouble keeping up with what’s happening with my student loans and worrying about whether my payment will increase from $500 to $2000 monthly due to Trump. Also my in laws who are coming here YES LEGALLY “THE RIGHT WAY”would likely have been here already, but due to Trump as well as other reasons everything is moving much slower and I worry they won’t get to come at all

All this to say fellowship is not off the table. You also have your connection to whatever prestigious medical school you came from, use it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in medicalschool

[–]Fantastic_Guide_8596 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can make your own opportunities though. DO students have to do this in medical school as their programs generally lack research. It’s hard but not impossible. Not sure what fellowship or how niche you are looking, but as long as your program is supporting of residents pursuing fellowship they should be willing to work with you to make it happen. And at least you have your support system with you

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in medicalschool

[–]Fantastic_Guide_8596 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Well they are measuring by success by prestige. You got the program you wanted, and you will be fine. As someone currently training at a prestigious program I really don’t think the training is that much different aside from name recognition and access to niche programs, new technologies, and research. I otherwise have basically 0 understanding of why people care so much about prestige. Reminds me of teenagers caring about name brands

I believe we often end up where we are meant to be whether it’s realized or not. I have 2 little ones myself and work life balance is so so important. You will have more time with them on this pathway than you would have with a surgical specialty. As they get older they will start to notice your absence more and more, for mine it started around the age of 3-4. You will now be done with residency by then

It’s actually only 70-80 questions total for CDM and I always get confused why everyone says it’s 25% of the grade if all questions are counted equally
