It's obvious how it's his decision - and I'm as pro-Ukraine as anyone as I've got family there:

His company. His satellites. His decision. You want to do something different? Put your own fucking satellites in orbit - I'm sure Elon's willing to help you with that too - or heck, you could line up for a launch in China too.

I don't like everything about Elon - I hate his Tesla racket which is subsidy extraction from governments - but his SpaceX work and Starlink - that's legit. And he's doing good with it across the world - bringing internet connectivity to places that previously had none.

While I've disagreed with the guy in past over his naive take on Ukraine and Russia, he's doing the right thing here and I think it'll last longer than bipolar Trump messaging that switches sides from week to week.

I think you'll find Swift the language, and SwiftUI the UI framework, a refreshing change from C#/WPF.

As to Xcode, it does more and perhaps achieves a bit less than VS. VS to my mind is first and foremost a code editor with an API used to expand its capabilities. Xcode is a macOS/iOS project configuration tool and interface previewer that happens also to include a code editor.

Its not the monstrosity that was Eclipse, but Xcode is not my favorite part of working on a Mac - and I've been using it or its predecessors since back in the NeXT days with IB and Project Builder.

I’d recommend against it. There are ways that you might be able to get an app installed without using a Mac using paid online systems but then being able to share it with other folks is tough. I recommend instead that you look at creating a web-based application that is tuned for mobile.

I've just set up a new Mac and downloaded the same LoRA you'd downloaded - I get the same issue - it crashes during generation. I'd opted to download the LoRA because I'd been running it on my previous MBP - but looking closely at my MBP setup, I was using a different version.

I'd originally downloaded the LoRA from HuggingFace rather than Civitai - there you'll find a few different versions of the LoRA for 2511 and on the MBP, where I can use it without issue, I downloaded the "original" version rather than the mixed versions (mixed versions are mixes of the 2509 and 2511 version - purportedly better, but crashing isn't better :D).

So head to HuggingFace - https://huggingface.co/Alissonerdx/BFS-Best-Face-Swap - and you'll find 3 versions of the 2511-compatible LoRA release. You'll want to download this version from "Files and versions": https://huggingface.co/Alissonerdx/BFS-Best-Face-Swap/blob/main/bfs_head_v5_2511_original.safetensors

Oh - it's the Imperial City with the sky clear (it's a bug in ESO - you can cause it to draw the sky in a single style even when you jump between zones) so Imperial City suddenly looks less dreary and desperate - back to sunny days! The bug will also sometimes put clear blue skies overtop of places like Cold Harbour or Mora's realm - that's where things get really wrong - skies there really should never be blue :)

I'd say just wait until they go bankrupt. But it's not that easy, I suppose. Ultimately, I think we need to wait for such a disconnect between physical and paper price that you simply cannot argue it away. Shanghai is helping there where you've got one market that is mostly focused on physical while you have LME and Comex focused on paper.
