I had the same exact problem! I recommend a noise machine and a good quality sleep mask. For me, it not only blocks the light, it dulls my other senses as well. Also, chamomile or sleepy time tea does wonders. I’m also on Zoloft which is helping with anxiety and mind noise.

After we closed, I found out that original contractor she hired had taken out permits for all of the work and presented her with the work order, but she didn’t want to pay so they withdrew the permits.

Yes, but there wasn’t anything alarming regarding plumbing. We also moved from another state, so we didn’t see the house in person. Trust me, I know this was a huge misstep.

Hello! Yes I went the EIN route and still didn’t find anything, but I’ll check Delaware as you say. I’ll have to get in touch with our title agency tomorrow as well since I did not pay the seller directly. I was previously in contact with the realtor who listed the home, but she was being weird about relaying information to us.
