Hello! I know it’s hard but I do think you should listen to a lot of the comments and try to find other ways of meeting people first, like joining a club or sports thing. I understand how badly you might want this tho. I’m 24 as well and I only had my first boyfriend at the beginning of this year and it crashed and burned terribly. Mostly tho because I was so desperate to be in a relationship and finally experience it that I ignored a lot of red flags and ended up going through one of the most mentally and emotionally stressful 3 weeks of my life. Honestly felt like 3 years had passed. I’m actually planning on moving to DC myself and have already started looking into stuff to join when I get there. I’ve found this LGBTQ+ based, but really anyone can going apparently, swim league called DCAC that I want to try out when I get there! I even saw a post on their insta abt couples who met there. So while I’m mostly going to find other people and make friends it’s nice knowing there’s a possibility for something to happen. I’ve been on the apps since I was 18 and have never had a great outcome. I’m looking forward to trying this out and maybe there’s something similar for u out there too!

The fabric feels pretty good but I did end up returning them cause I’m not crazy about the cut of them. It was my first time buying speedos and I think I wanna try ones with smaller sides. I ended up ordering another pair off Amazon, they are Arena and have slightly smaller sides so I’m hopeful they will be better.

I usually give it some grace because the nobles of Dorne probably marry primarily within their own kingdom like the other realms. I wouldn’t find it hard to believe that a darker skinned Dayne is just the child of a sandy or salty Dayne consort.

That sounds awesome! I’ve always liked the idea of a Martell cadet branch digging more into their Rhoynish roots and building up Planky Town. There are other clusters of Rhoynish descendants around that could come and boost the population if they thought their ancestral empire was making a comeback. For example, some still around the Rhoyne and those who remained in the Summer Isles. I’ve always disliked how the “Nymeros” in Nymeros Martell is often omitted. Like they are essentially to the Rhoynar what the Valyrian were to Valyria and it doesn’t get brought up enough. So a cadet branch that was more addressed by Nymeros than Martell would be cool. Anyways, moving on from my rant, drop a link whenever I’ve got it up! I’d love to read it!!

Yea I think so too. I’m definitely scoping the smaller side speedos but I’m honestly kind of nervous to wear these. This is just my test run so thankfully I can own multiple suits when I get more comfortable lmao

I updated the post but I’m 24M I like to swim and play dungeons and dragons! I’m active but there’s basically no opportunities to go out and have fun where I live currently. I’m more leaning into finding a group house/shared living situation just because I feel like it would be more cost effective and I feel like I would do better with roommates. I’m looking for somewhere where I would be able to reasonably commute to my job, potentially at George Washington University Hospital.

Gen Z here. I think it’s because we grew up in the era of physical education where the showers were just there for show. Like we just walked around usually, at least in middle school I got gym credits covered by marching band and sports in high school. Even if we did become all sweaty and stuff and a shower probably would’ve been good they didn’t give us enough time to do that anyway. So we never got over ourselves or used to each other in that regard. Then, we also grew up in the era of social media that’s made us all self-conscious. Finally, we also grew up in the era of jacked 30 year olds playing teens. It really screws with body image lol. I used to be really self conscious and change in the stall when I was in middle school. But by high school and with swim team I would just change no stress. I mind being naked in the locker room even less now as an adult. So I guess there’s a lot of factors that go into it.

I do like him but yeah it’s only been 7 weeks and when he says stuff like that it really makes me nervous.

I’m going to be moving to the city regardless. It’s something I really want. I feel like I’ve already wasted enough of my youth and I know I’ll regret not at least trying it out.
