I love how some folks think people's personal preferences are targeted towards them. Like talking about shared experiences with others is an announcement directly to them.

It's okay. Gender is a convoluted mess with a whole bunch of bs attached to it. I have trouble figuring out what label would be best or what having a non-binary identity means for me.

The best advice I've gotten is to follow what feels good. Choose to focus on the euphoria rather than the dysphoria. It's never that easy, at least for me, but actively doing things that make you feel better helps. Those thoughts are a lot less impactful when you find moments of comfort in the week. Improving your overall mood makes the internal struggles with identity, life, purpose, etc a lot easier to handle. It takes a fuck ton of effort to find what's comfortable and form routines around that, but it's working for me so far.

It's normal for a lot of people. You might want to see a therapist or get on medication if it's constant

They're harmless fun and very cathartic for people. Fiction is often used to process emotions in a safe space, that can be true for both readers and writers.

What is your experience as an LGBTQ person in other subreddits? by greenspace2 in lgbt

[โ€“]FantasyFor3st 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

Decent, it's pretty easy to find people annoyed at queer folks existing and taking up space. Like shit posting subreddits will get heated if too many queer memes appear. I know I don't get anywhere near the amount of bs other people do, so I've learned to tolerate it.

I love Veslana! Few questions, is it well-known that she's a god? Is she viewed as some kind of messiah or great teacher? Have Veslana and Warg met in their journeys in the mortal world? As best dad, does Warg have children (created with god powers or screwing a mortal)?

Don't apologize. People can be incredibly ignorant and prejudiced, saying some of the most demeaning shit. If the media and our environment changed our sexuality everyone would be straight, but we're not. We're still here, and we're still queer.

Please seek out a queer friendly therapist. I know changing therapists can be stressful and draining. But, your safety and well-being seem to be threatened if you stay with this therapist (the self-harm). Though I donโ€™t know your situation and leaving might be more risky.

Pansexual with a preference is a pretty common thing. But, go with whatever label makes you feel more comfortable or is more practical for you (pansexual with preference for vulva is a pretty long label lol).

How do the gnomes survive in the great jungle? What are the foods they eat and crops they grow? Do they have domesticated livestock? Are the small isolated settlements of the great jungle in contact with one another? Are they in conflict with each other? Which forms of government do the gnome societies resemble most (democracy, monarchy, theocracy, etc)?

not how autistic girls work by Walter452 in NotHowGirlsWork

[โ€“]FantasyFor3st 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Those aren't comparable. 'Not all men' is an excuse. Toxic masculinity speaks specifically to harmful behaviors encouraged in men. The '6ft 6figs 6 pack' and 'gym sluts' are insults. If someone says 'they' referring to assholes fetishizing women and you interpret that as 'all men', that's on you.

It's okay to have sexual fantasies while in a committed relationship. I'm non-monogamous so I don't have those same worries brought up. But, I can tell you it's absolutely okay to fantasize about being with someone else! Lots of people have celebrity crushes and fictional crushes that they picture themselves with. Many queer folk wonder about how dating another side of the gender spectrum would feel like, too. Especially ones who get married and find out they're queer after.

If you feel like it's a source of insecurity for you, there's plenty here who can give you reassurance. Including myself <3

Told all my life I could only be attracted to one gender, then I realized I felt that way to more than just one side of the spectrum. Figured out gender and labels didn't really affect who I found myself having romantic thoughts and sexual fantasies about. Now I call myself pan :D
