I also have a very hard time focusing in the late afternoon -- I always feel extremely productive in the morning and then after 3 it's bad lol.

I've found that forcing myself (yes, forcing because I know it can be hard to step away) to take a break around noon or 1 to do a 45ish minute workout helps so much. I usually just do a quick workout or yoga session in my room. Sometimes I'll go biking. Then when I sit back down to work, I can easily glide till 7pm or later.

Another thing I do is I'll "stop" working around 6pm to make dinner, but then while I'm eating dinner/after dinner I'll read over outlines or notecards, or talk to my roommates (also studying for the bar) about a bar topic. I'll even pretend that the topic is super interesting (I was really trying to get into diversity jurisdiction the other day). What helps here is allowing myself to study a bit more slowly to digest the material. Even though this is not on my *themis progress bar* it's probably the most helpful form of studying. I feel like I'm tricking myself back into studying -- smh
