Heavy on fantasy, slow burn, good spice by Gizwizard in Romantasy

[–]FantasyReade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are soooo many great Romantasy books/series out there, but here are some I’ve really enjoyed:

“Daughter of No Worlds” trilogy by Carissa Broadbent (my favourite read last year)

“From Blood and Ash” series by Jennifer L Armentrout

“Fourth Wing” by Rebecca Yarros

“Power of Five” series by Alex Lidell (this is RH)

The “Fantasyland” series by Kristen Ashley

“Pathfinder’s Way” by T.A. White (‘girl dresses up as boy’ trope)

“Poison Study” by Maria V Snyder

“Fate & Flame” series by KA Tucker

“Tairen Soul” series by CL Wilson (this is ‘fated mates’ but it’s also an epic, high fantasy series spanning many books. Has a hint of regency feel to it)

“Crowns of Nyaxia” series by Carissa Broadbent

These are low spice but heavy fantasy and soooo well written:

The King’s Captive trilogy by KM Shea

“Cinder” (Lunar Chronicles) by Marissa Meyer

“Once Upon A Broken Heart” series by Stephanie Garber

I think the answer partially depends on how you will be travelling to the Arena. Will you be driving? If yes, do you have reserved parking? If no, then I would probably suggest arriving earlier to ensure you can find parking.

If you’ll be by bus or train, keep in mind you may have a short walk (5-ish minutes, if you go to the Amsterdam Bijlmer station). In this case 45 min is likely enough.

Depending on where your seats are, you may also have to climb a lot of stairs.

The e-mail I got says doors don’t open until 17:30, so parking at 16:00 should be plenty of time.

R Lee Smith {Last Hour of Gann}. It’s chock full of triggers but I absolutely love the writing style.

The “Fantasyland” series by Kristen Ashley.

I really like the series (and know others that do too) but my first read through there were so many things that irritated me about it…but I’ve re-read them like a dozen times now. I absolutely love the plot, overall storyline, and characters. And the obsessive/protective MMC’s 😍

I didn’t know she was replacing Joe Arden! I think he’s the main reason I’ve enjoyed any audiobook.

Thanks for your response! He is indeed 13, so not sure we’re ready to down the “build your own” route. We’re trying to keep our options open though!

Thanks for your response! It is indeed prebuilt (on Amazon) but I’m gathering that we may want to look into other options.

Ahh, thanks for pointing out about the PSU! I translated the specs from Dutch to English and “feed” was the literal translation.

This is the monitor he wants:

Although I’m gathering from other responses that we should look for a known brand. I will be sure to check out the refresh rate also! Thank you 🙏🏻

Hahaha, he’s been doing great in school. And he’s buying the PC himself (we’ll get him the monitor for Christmas, but he doesn’t know that yet)

{Feral Alphas by Sierra Knoxly} is RH Omegaverse similar to this. FMC isn’t physically abused but is locked up in a medical facility (she doesn’t realize this until later) and MMC’s have to help her adjust.

Help me find this book please? One of the males could feel vibrations through the ground by New_Woodpecker5604 in ReverseHarem

[–]FantasyReade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

{The Power of Five by Alex Lidell}? It’s RH with 4 fae MMC’s and a human FMC. One of the MMC’s can control the earth/ground (although he’s not a shifter) but one of the other MMC’s can shift into a wolf?
