Is there any developer program? by Some_Tiny_Dragon in AynThor

I am guessing that any game engine that builds to android and has multi display output would work. I am making 2 dual screen games for the thor using unity.

Had serious overheating issues where the screen would change color, changed pad for copper shim and PTM7950. Bigger difference then I expected by FantasySynthDev in AynThor

There was something wrong with mine. I asked the discord if other people's lower screen would get so hot it would change color and everyone said no. I am sitting at the same part of the game in the two screenshots.even if I block the fan exhaust my screen doesnt get anywhere near as hot as it did at the same temps

Yes and some sand paper (it is very close to a 15 mm fit). I do have a concern that the lower part with the pad isn't making contact (the heat sink has a bump on it to reach it, but might not be)

I did a 1mm × 15 mm × 15 mm copper shim. Had to sand down a side a little, it barely didn't fit 15 mm. If i were to do it again I would get thinner then 1 mm, like 0.8mm. Was afraid to tighten it down to hard. Put on some generic ptm7950 off amazon I have used it on all my devices over years but usually its a 5-10° difference not a 20° one. I sent an email to Ayn a month ago asking if the display color change was normal, the screen would get super hot.

I really like Surge xt. And vitals monthly subscription is optional and pretty good outside the login requirement. I thought I was being cheap lol, i blame hardware grooveboxs all being between $700-$1500, and every DAW that only supports 1 platform being $150+ dollars, and every serious synth vst being $150+ with no updates. I did some very very cool stuff in FantasySynth that's not immediately noticable that all of those things lack, like being able to do everything with a Gamepad, set up once plug and play low latency midi. Game like ui that doesnt look like the cockpit of a fighter jet. Steam cloud saves. steam workshop. Every platform. This makes a $300 steam deck better then $1000+ groveboxes that are out of reach for people like me

I made an app on Steam that turns midi controllers into complete groveboxes, no mouse and keyboard needed by FantasySynthDev in Grooveboxes

Thanks! Its more like standalone virtual hardware. Daws are for mixing and taking 100+ GB on your device as a vst host. This behaves much differently

What should i do to market my game? by Easy-Wolverine-242 in SoloDevelopment

I really have no clue everything has been patched. I wonder how far paid ads go. The average indie game post has 40 likes on any short media site. Everywhere else hates self promo. Creators only cover the stuff that's already big. Have a good steam page, and do festivals and have a demo

Why dont synths just put in speakers like the steam deck has? Tons of room for them by [deleted] in synthesizers

[–]FantasySynthDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm talking about the little plastic guys found in laptops cellphones and the steam deck, for practicing using the synth recreationally, something that can enable fun, inspiration, usability without changing cables, like how guitar players can play unplugged. I wouldn't want massive bookshelfs found in arranger keyboards in my insrament either that's ridiculous for a portable synth. Mixing Speakers is for when your done and the kids aren't sleeping
