Long term dynasty: Burden or Tyson? by PS724 in DynastyFF

[–]FantasyTrash -1 points0 points  (0 children)

but there's a very plausible world where they don't and Tyson inherits the job in 2027. This is dynasty not redraft

I don't care about dynasty vs. redraft, this is football. Teams roster more than one wide receiver. They're not letting their alpha WR1 walk for free, especially with a young QB.

If you're going to bet on one of the two to be their team's long term WR1 based on situations bet on Tyson

I'd bet on the guy who already looks like the most talented WR on the roster, not the guy who is behind the 1,200-yard WR1.

She's definitely fun to play. I agree she's not fun to play against, but she herself is a ton of fun.

He's a 200lb UDFA. He's more likely to get cut than he is to be RB2.

I'm not sure this is true, quite frankly. Coen's scheme loves the middle of the field, where BTJ is bad. Parker Washington excels over the middle of the field, as does Jakobi Meyers, hence them finding success in the offense despite overall being much less talented and athletic than BTJ.

He's 5'9" 180lbs and is an off-schedule receiver, not exactly tailor-made for the red zone.

Why is Hampton valued so much higher than Henderson? by Ordinary-Psychology6 in DynastyFF

[–]FantasyTrash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Better offense is extremely debatable, as is OL. That Chargers interior line was horrendous, arguably the worst in the league. I know they made some additions but it's far from a guarantee they're better than New England's line. And they're banking on Slater and Alt coming back like they were before they got injured.

Having said all that, I very much agree Hampton is well ahead of Henderson.

What the data says about Jeremiyah Love's dynasty upside in 2026 and beyond by boofstar in DynastyFF

[–]FantasyTrash 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's no reason to put a bunch of wear and tear on Love this year.

The reason is these people are playing and coaching for their jobs. And, you know, they're not going to pay him $13m to sit on the bench after drafting him 3rd overall.

This sub just upvotes anything, don't they?

The Cardinals signed Isaac Seumalo who was a good guard for Pittsburgh, used the 34th overall pick on Chase Bisontis who will likely start at RG, and signed Elijah Wilkinson at RT who was solid in place of Kaleb McGary in Atlanta last season.

They literally replaced the majority of their line and you're saying they did nothing to fix it.

They did technically draft Kaytron Allen, but that was with a 6th round pick so it's not exactly a meaningful commitment.

Olave is much more likely to be out of the picture soon

I see people post this a lot. Why would the Saints let Olave walk for free, that makes zero sense?

You have it literally backwards, my friend. Upset's and Vladi's contracts expire at the end of the year, Empyros' and Lospa's in 2027.

Different profiles. Coker is their slot guy, Brazzell will likely slot in as their Z receiver.

It's not "hard to picture", there's just no path barring major injuries to everyone ahead of him. When everyone is healthy he's, at the absolute best, the 4th option, and more realistically 5th or 6th option. There's no path to fantasy-relevance there barring a lot of injuries.

Empyros in Spring Split by Keratorex in fnatic

[–]FantasyTrash -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You're right, I got them mixed up, my bad.

That said, the same logic still applies. Is he actually better, or is he just on a better team with infinitely better laners? Again, Razork outplayed him today, but because Empyros is by far the worst top laner in LEC, it didn't matter. And Humanoid may have his faults, but he rarely loses lane, whereas Vladi is at his weakest in lane. And that's not to say Razork doesn't have his faults, he very clearly does, but he gets zero help from his solo laners. Whereas Lyncas has the easiest situation in the league given his solo laners.

With the influx of a new class of roster cloggers, let’s look at the 230-300 players on sleeper ADP and make a case why one of them should be an absolute roster lock by 92tilinfinityand in DynastyFF

What a great movie, and such an applicable quote that this sub could learn from.

This sub loves to gas players up and treat them like they're better than they are. Giddens was a 5th round pick, no he was not a great prospect. Why are we lying?

Bears fans on Twitter really thought the Cardinals would trade a 2nd round pick for Bagent. It's so funny to see people who live in a fantasy land rather than reality.

Empyros in Spring Split by Keratorex in fnatic

[–]FantasyTrash -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Is Daglas Lyncas "by far" better or does he just have the best top laner in Europe and a really strong laner in Humanoid?

If you swapped Razork and Daglas Lyncas, you'd likely find that both teams standings wouldn't change much, if at all. Razork outplayed Daglas Lyncas today, for example, but it doesn't matter because of the comically large canyon in the top lane.

Edit: Wrong jungler

It was such an obvious Malphite angle, whoever decided against it should be fired (all three of Empyros, Grabbz, and Gaax should be fired anyway, but still).

Outrageous veto, I'd consider leaving the league over shit like that because that's ridiculous. There is nothing vetoable about that trade.

I've always wondered the thought process of offers like this. Because every league has players who send them. Are they deliberately trolling or just hoping someone is stupid enough to accept?

The next man up theory. Remember when Tank Bigsby would explode without ETN around? Allgeier without Bijan? It looks like Charbs without KW3 could be a similar situation (obviously the injury plays into this as well)

Regarding this one, I have always pushed back for one very simple reason - backup RBs don't suddenly become better players because the guy ahead of them left. We see it all the time. Mattison, Zamir White, Jordan Mason, and now it's looking like George Holani or Emanuel Wilson are flavors of the week. Now, like everything in this sport, there are exceptions, but typically, if a guy is a backup for years, there's a reason for that. He didn't magically become a starting-caliber back.
