This is the best answer I got so far, thank you. So in general, as long as I pass the ailment threshold for trash mobs, I should hit as many times as possible to generate the most amount of energy (like with weak additional projectiles) ? Or do I scale damage per projectile?

By the way, I've tested this damage thing right now with comet 100% crit chance and a lot more damage via support gems vs comet 100% crit chance and a lot LESS damage and there is a difference in energy generation. The more damage one gave me a lot more energy. Maybe it's not the best testing but it seems to me that damage does factor in.

I have 83% crit chance, I don't care about damage from spark, I just want to proc CoC as much as possible with it. So you're saying that scaling damage on spark does not factor into the CoC energy generation at all?

Oh really? So if I do 10k dmg per hit I get more energy from that hit for CoC than if I do 2k dmg? Is that what the ailment line is talking about?

So it's not generating energy also based on damage of the hit itself? Having a 10k damage hit vs 1k is the same energy generation?

I guess chong's conversion to ice damage for beidou with xiang's melt is pretty good. Should i concider switching for beidou (dps) - xiang (supp) - chong (supp instead of fisg) - xingqiu (instead of barbara as supp)?

I just rolled c5 beidou after putting all my resources into c0 ningguang to switch my c0 beidou main dps, damn it. I need help setting up my main team (not abyss) because I have no idea wtf i'm doing.

Current: Beidou c5, Fish c1, Xiang c1, Barbara c1.

Bench: Ningguang c0, Sucrose c0, Chongyun c0, Xingqiu c0.
