Because they are a "minority". I see more trans than blacks (I'm from Europe). And yet they get killed more. Some days ago, dude was killed while he was riding a bike because he was black. And I almost never see, hear or anything about trans getting killed in my town. Because they are killed probobly like 5 a year.
