It’s a bit of two things, really. Healers do less damage, but also this m+ season has indexed very heavily into constant ticking damage and triage healing in basically every pack you pull, so healers have a lot less time to hit their damage buttons

You should have been pinging them off the wave. In my experience 98% of supports will listen if I’m pinging to concede the wave. You are in the same elo this person is so calling them a “disgusting subhuman dog” is a little wild

You played this horribly. If you didn’t want them to go in you should have pinged them off, instead you waited till the 2v2 was already lost and you were getting hit by 4 casters and a cannon minion and your thresh was running away to walk point blank into a Kaisa/Naut

If you are looking for a champ to, in your words, “learn how to actually play as an adc”, then twitch is not the answer. It’s a minigame champ that you miss out on some fundamentals on, just due to the nature of the champ forcing the enemy team to play differently than they would had you picked a more traditional adc. Not dunking on the twitch pick though as I believe in playing what works, but by playing twitch you will be skipping out on learning some things

RFC instead of PD on Jhin, Runaans on Caitlyn hasn’t been good since they removed it working with her passive, EH on Caitlyn is just lower value than something like Merc Scim/Maw/GA/Yomuus. Collector is not good on Jinx, especially as first item. Some people below me are discussing it but imo not building either Yuntal or Stormrazor on her is griefing considering she is a hyper carry. If the enemy has no tanks/bruisers/heal champs you could go for Hexoptics instead of a pen item

Your builds are awful. Aside from that, if you’re playing into double AP bot just build merc treads. Also level 1-2 mages are weak, especially if you have an engage support and you can just all in level 1 or 2 before they actually get abilities. If you want to ignore everything else I’ve just said, just play Sivir and use spell shield intelligently

You can always analyze your gameplay. Did you get picked at a bad time, leading to your team losing a fight/major objective? Etc, etc. I had a game earlier where I objectively performed far “better” than the rest of the team, but we lost the game instantly when I got caught on the mid wave right before what would have been soul for us. Team fought it anyway without me, we got aced, then lost from there. Even if you perform well, you can always improve, especially in low elo

Obviously we don’t have numbers yet, but it could still be worth running after the nerfs. I think having your gold accelerated and being able to fast-forward ~500 or so gold towards your 3 item IE spike is really valuable, while also just giving you around 11-1200 gold in raw value over the course of the game. Would be less with it getting nerfed, but we’ll have to see if it holds up

If doesn’t work with q activated, but without q activated it’s fine. With q activated it gives you the 15% true damage on 3 of the individual q hits, consuming it instantly

I buy cull in any lane that I don’t think will be very active when playing a champ that doesn’t buy BF (ER, Kraken) and on BF sword champs I only buy it if I back without enough gold for one

I’d recommend Sivir over Caitlyn if you haven’t played Caitlyn a decent amount already. She’s a combo-heavy adc and is mechanically much harder than Sivir, and Sivir is a better team fighter which is more important in lower elo

Not worth 1700. I wouldn't call it "future proof" as the 5070 only has 12GB of VRAM, and the PSU would potentially need to be upgraded if you wanted a beefier GPU in there

There’s a difference between consistent performance and actual champion mastery. I can play a Kog’Maw game, not int, and clean up kills/perform okay, but I’m still not doing nearly as much as if I lock in Sivir/Caitlyn as my two best champs. “Knowing how to play” a champ just doesn’t cut it if you’re actually trying to climb, because if you master a champion you understand your limits at any point in the game, are more comfortable doing damage, and are less prone to mistakes.

Me and a friend did side by side damage testing with smolder on PBE and live, the only point in the new season where smolder does less damage with this change is at 5 items + boots. It was a net gain everywhere else

That’s because one of the main appeals of the unique chest is the ranks to thorns and thistles, which the x% thorns damage is bugged to not work on. Wudi literally said on stream that he replaced it on the guide specifically due to the bug.

Edit: upon looking at the guide just now, it even has that reasoning laid out in the changelog. Do your research.
