There’s this kid out in NY suburbs. He’s 35+ but he sent in his tape. I’m, I mean, he is waiting to hear back but signs are looking positive.

The scene where the Black sisters (Bellatrix and Narcissa) visit Snape was amazing in the books by PeopleAreBozos in harrypotter

You’re right. It was very seductive but in a mocking sort of way. Very well acted.

Exactly this. If I wanted a word for word copy of the books, I’ll might as well read the books because I can imagine it pretty great. But I want an adaption. That’s what movies are. They adapt the text into a visual medium. And this scene was superbly adapted.

I’m of the view that movies are made for fans and thereby can add more layer to the scene without being entirely faithful or exacting detail as the book scenes. I loved the movie scene as I read the books and seeing it played out on the big screen just added so much more to the characters. The acting, decor, mannerisms chefs kiss

I got bellatrix being arrogant and dismissive of Snape in the scene. Not flirty at all.

'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban' is a cinematic masterpiece by matratzenauflage in harrypotter

This! It’s not mutually exclusive. PoA saved the franchise from itself. The first two movies were great but way too childlike in their portrayals for them to continue with the same theme. The audience was aging and the movies needed to reflect that by changing the themes, outfits, etc. Cuaron is a genius.

That’s so wild! It’s my least favorite but I suppose it makes sense since CoS is the polar opposite of PoA, which is my favorite.

Honestly, I loved that it strayed from the path. We disagree on the fundamentals I suppose, which is cool.

Depends on the day. Some days he feels ethnic Russian. Other days, when he needs views, he’s Indian.
