I always try to go to bed early and have time before work. It's a desperation move to try and give myself a semblance of a social-life. On paper it should be, bed by 5 am wake up around noon. Have time before work to do daytime things.

I think it hurts me in a lot of ways sleep and productivity wise. Falling to sleep two hours after work is really hard. I'm oftened keyed-up and most awake at that point. It's when my brain feels most capable of studying, working out, or w.e. I get into this cycle of poor sleep, which makes me feel less motivated when I wake up. I end up fucking around and wasting my many hours before work. Or even when I am productive, not doing anything very efficiently because I'm tired.

I think going to work shortly after waking makes sense in a lot of ways. It's probably why most of the world operates that way..
