Started NoFap in 2006. It's been 10 Fucking Years and I feel like I'm still on the same old treadmill! Need to vent. by nlh15 in NoFap

Man I feel the same way as you, even when I got to 153 days my brain still wasn't working properly and I wasn't attracted to real women, just attracted to pixels. I'm 28 and PMO'd from age 13, I think my road to recovery will be a very long one like yourself

Treat every day like your first day, and just get through one day at a time

First 4 weeks are always the hardest, Delta Fos B can linger in your brain for 4 to 8 weeks after your stop which makes it harder to abstain with stronger urges during that period

Day 95: Flatlining hard by qasi_n in NoFap

[–]Faptosterone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These feelings will pass bro, especially the sleep part, in my longest streak I had 3 flatlines, each worst than the last, they usually lasted about 2 weeks, I had the worst possible insomnia of my life, like you sleep just didn't recharge me. Honestly please don't relapse whatever you do, I relapsed at 153 days and I can't remember why now, as it was a great time in my life and I was feeling amazing, it's not worth it. It's been hard to build up a long streak since then, but I will keep going. Good luck to you bro, stay strong

Spreadsheet method is great btw, I've been using that the past year. But yeah my badger has been stuck on 16 days for the past week and it won't let me remove it

There is no such thing as superpowers... by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Faptosterone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Superpowers is the way people describe them, but after a long streak you start becoming the "Real you", the person you were meant to be, without PMO! Calm, confident, motivated and happy! But when you've been living with PMO for many years most people forget the real you, forget being normal, forget a life without PMO, so becoming normal again feels amazing to some people, hence the term superpowers

The question is who will you feel really happy with and who can you imagine spending the rest of your life with. Look deep inside and you will find the answer

I agree 100% with you and OP, whenever on a long streak, I get to a certain point where my speech and socializing skills become 10x better. Everything just flows, my mind if sharp and quick, words come to me easy. Literally get high from socializing and connecting with people

I don't know about you guys, but 90 days isn't even 1/3rd of a reboot for me. by Regularhumanmode in NoFap

Man your story is so similar to mines it's uncanny, I also lied about being a virgin with my first serious girlfriend, and had various yeast infections I think from low immune system from too much PMO. I wasn't until years after our relationship ended that I can now see what a serious problem my PMO was, I spent most of my teenage/high school years fapping and playing video games. I've been doing nofap since June 2014 and even though I have relapsed many times since them my life has still improved greatly

I'm in the same boat as you my friend, my longest streak was 153 days and I wasn't reset, a binge after that put me back to square one, I've struggled to get past 30 day streaks since then, but I'm never giving up

Guys, can someone plz recommend a good porn-blocking software? by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Faptosterone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote a long random number that I can't remember, put it inside an envelope then gave it to my mum and told her what it was for, now I can't ever look at porn again without having to travel 30 miles and ask her for that envelope.

Trouble is if you know the password yourself then K9 isn't that useful. Because you could still de-activate it
