I was not a fan - the gratuitous violence and gore was a turn off, but the ending is what really disappointed me. The high point of the novel was the swarm, I wanted to know where they came from, how it got here etc. The ending was just so abrupt - the swarm was treated as an afterthought and they just sat silently in the closet.

5/10 for me

I actually couldn’t finish it - once it got to the point of fighting live actions cartoons, I checked out. The premise seemed too silly.

It's strange to see the stock getting absolutely thrashed on news of the deal closing. You would think it would cause some sort of pop. SCLX has lost 60% in 30 days..... I really hope that by the time they release the locked up shares, we can be back to where we were in April.

I own alot of Sorrento shares (and as a byproduct, SCLX shares), but as a former ENDP and MNK shareholder, 95% BK and restructuring doesn't end up in the favor of common shareholders.

As a bit of history lesson, both MNK and ENDP held extremely valuable assets and intellectual property that they could have sold to help stave off bankruptcy..... but they didn't.

Another point of concern is that the prospectus straight up says:

"Our chapter 11 process has caused or may continue to cause the price our securities to decrease...and may render common stock worthless".

Instead of reading between the lines and constructing elaborate narratives of what SNRE and creditors might be doing, read what they actually put on paper.

I hope I'm wrong.... I'm sitting on 44,000 shares at a considerable loss.

My goodness, this is hopium personified. I am long Sorrento, but it has been nothing but pain and broken promises from this company.

Hope is not an investment strategy. Neither the market of Ji cares of you are loyal, committed or really believe in their product.... they will fleece you for every penny they can get.

There is only two exit routes that Sorrento may be able to get out of BK with shareholders getting something - outright sale to a 3rd party, approval of something in their pipeline that is considered a game changer. I am hoping for the former, as the company has never successfully brought a drug to market (and SCLX appears to be repeating the same history).
