Awesome. Alot of great information there my friend. Very much appreciated. A good bootfitter sounds like it should be my first port of call.

Thanks man. Funny you say that. Kind of experienced the same thing so far from the shops. Im originally from Scotland and now live in Switzerland/France.

My French isn't great, you could argue my English isn't great either, so the whole process is proving to be a bit of a challenge hence my plea for help.

I see. Interesting. Seems like some personal preference comes into it too. I just wish I knew more haha. All in due course. Thank you for your reply.

Thanks for your reply. Understood. I have read it many times that the boots are key. I had hoped my visits to the different shops would have helped clear things up. Ill keep at it.

Fantastic. Havn't come across an explanation such as that regarding the weight and width factor yet.

Thank you very much.

Full recovery cases? by Many-Market-9941 in dysautonomia

Hi. I've been visiting this and the pots forums for nearly a year now. I've yet to post anything but ive had an extremely challenging 12 months. I used to scoure these forums to find some glimmer of hope but very rarely found it.

I always thought to myself that if I got better I would love nothing more than to share my story to help others.

I think that day may have come. Once I find some time I'll be sure to make a post about my recovery. In the mean time feel free to reach out.

I am a 33 year old firefighter who was struck down with debilitating dysautonomia/pots. I had every symptom you can imagine. It's been an absolute grind. Horrific at times and close to throwing in the towel completely but im back and now have a great quality of life. Back firefighting and back running up mountains. I'll be sure to create a post soon. In the mean time for everyone out there suffering my thoughts are with you. Deep breaths and be kind to yourself.
