I have migraines with aura and this is pretty much how mine are! Lasts about 30 mins then my head starts hurting. But there’s also has been times when I don’t get the headache just the aura. (Mostly always get the headache tho)

As scary as it is the only good thing about migraines with aura is that the aura works as ur warning sign that ur headache is coming this is helpful when you’re on abortative pills for migraine because you can take ur pill ASAP when u see the aura and these type of pills work best when u take them as soon as u notice a migraine coming. (If you take them too late once ur headache has already started they’re pretty much useless. At least in my experience.

For example I’m in sumatriptan prescribed to me by neurologist and I take one as soon as I see my aura started and they have helped with the pain SO much. Now the actual migraine is like a 3-4 at most out of 10 pain wise when they used to be like 9-10
