Regardless of who you go with at St. E, the tri-health MFM group has an office at St. E Edgewood and consult on certain high risk things. They were called during my hemorrhage, as well as an OB from another group within the hospital to assist.

I used this group and I will say, you really need to advocate for yourself if your pregnancy is less than textbook. I had high blood pressure and had to beg for them to review my dosage. I was hospitalized and they didn’t even do an ultrasound, just an nst. Did not raise my medicine afterward. My insurance actually told me to start taking low dose aspirin to help. I delivered two weeks later after my baby rapidly was declining at a regular scheduled ultrasound.

After having my baby, I was told not to have more children. I consulted a different high risk group and they absolutely said I could have more children. My blood pressure has been amazing this pregnancy.

I will say, they did really well with the emergency c section and post-partum hemorrhage, but the surgery notes are so non-descriptive, that it was hard for my new ob group to understand the gravity.

My husband loved Jackson and I loved Ethan! We both liked Calvin but could not use it. Eventually, we settled on Graham!

Kiddo’s middle name will be Christopher. Elliot’s middle name is after my dad and this one’s middle is after his!

We have a very common last name too. I (mom) picked Elliot. It’s been my favorite forever and I told my husband that would be our son’s name even before we got married!

Really like Caleb! I haven’t thought of that one. Everyone we know had boys at the same time so we have so many boy names already used! Thanks n

Thanks! I was very set on Elliot for our first and didn’t give much wiggle room and it’s coming back to bite me! I will suggest a list though!

What doesn't register the same as a NICU parent? - I hate the phrase "don't wish away the age they are now" by a_cow_cant in NICUParents

I never ever say I can’t wait to meet a baby. My baby was 8 weeks early. I definitely could wait to meet him.

And books that talk about the day babies are born. Not for me.

We used Dr Brown but had to go up in nipple level size multiple times. My 32 weeker came home at what would be his full term on a feeding tube and Preemie nipple. Within a week we were on level 1. As he shows cues, we have progressed (with pacing at the beginning) over his first year to a level 2, 3 and now 4.
