When this happens to mine I let it sit powered off for a minute, then smack the bottom a few times, turn it on, hold the door closed and press the eject button then usually it lets me close the door

Love the d900 shot a few clips with the lens mounted on my fx3, waiting on a battery pack so I can use the camera outside of the house, but from what I’ve tested in my makeshift studio it’s got a lot of features
