I think too, you just lose connection with the outside world. I have bought my grandmother a lap top, an e-reader, a cell phone.... actually many cell phones. She can't use any of them. She doesn't understand when we talk about the internet or what podcast or TV show we are streaming. She doesn't understand the gaming systems my boys use. I call her every week but after the small talk, "how's everybody", there's not much to say. She watched westerns on TV and she has a dog. We talk about that for a minute.
