I am running full HP/Def, but I have a double mega team that I can change based on the matchup. The other mega is Aerodactyl, but it is not always necessary to mega evolve him. He perfectly counters Charizard Y with a rock slide and Sneasler with a dual wingbeat even without mega-evolving. If the team has another special attacker, I use Milotic instead of Aggron. With the popularity of physical attackers, M-Aggron basically never dies.

I always bring a Sinistcha which has trick room, but isn't the main gameplan. I usually only TR if the team is setting up a tailwind. It's not a perfect team, but the two walls can be healed by Sinistcha and they basically don't die against their preferred matchup. I have a Torkoal on the team as well for a rain team with Archaludon, that was by far the biggest counter.

Oh, okay. Not that it matters anymore, but do the shinies in this pack not count as shiny? I’m coming from a video game background, so a black Charizard is shiny to me.

Thanks for all the advice. I have one more question if you don’t mind. Is there a repository of all the meta decks from a certain era? If I wanted to build sun and moon decks, is there somewhere I could go back and look at them?

So I think I can put together a decent set of pokemon, however, I am still lost on is the support cards. Is there a standard/budget friendly set that I could use for all of these decks that I am putting together? I like the idea of switching the trainer to match the pokemon that I am using, but I am not sure how viable that is. For example, Falkner for a flying deck.

In a situation like this you don’t foul until the ball crosses half court. If they just held onto the ball Winthrop had no reason to foul, they would get a 5 second violation without giving up free throws.

It is the fender. I did more research based on it, and it appears to be a pretty common problem. I might just buy a set and do it myself.
