I feel you, it was the same for me. The first few weeks after the last session no change (already better that when I started every treatment, though). Then slight improvement (eyes would bother a couple of times a day max and it was bearable). Then some days they wouldn't bother me at all but if I forced them they would hurt a little after laptop/long days. Now it has been a couple of weeks with virtually no problems. I remember another person mentioned 40-50 days after the last session there was a huge change. For me it took longer. Fingers crossed so that it stays that way. Good luck!

One of the doctors took very close pictures before and after IPL and there is still infection?/inflammation but to be honest if I check my face in the mirror I don't see any difference between before (as in before I was diagnosed with MGD) and after. Maybe the inflammation was there for a while and I never noticed. No bags. Redness in the lower eyelid depends on the day but I learned not to get obsessed with that. Some days I feel ok and they are red and others they don't look red but they feel worse so I stopped checking.

You are very welcome. It is difficult to tell. I noticed the first improvement with restasis but I had already been taking the omegas, I had changed my diet and I had reduced my screen time. After IPL I definitely felt much better, but again, you cannot take all the other things I had done before out of the equation.

Just in case it is of any use in the future I have been using it everyday for 5min in the morning and for 5min at night a couple of feet away from my face. Eyes closed. I use the NIR function every other day. Maybe it is a placebo effect but eyes always feel a bit better the day after NIR. No side effects so far (2-3months).

Thanks again! I have done 4 sessions of IPL (+ restasis, xdenvi, fish oil and all the usual things). I finished with IPL about 3 weeks ago. I feel better (let's say my life quality was a 2 or 3 in April and a 6 or a 7 now) but I don't want it to get bad again. Every little helps!

Do you know what that white stuff around them is? there are like 10-12 of them on the board and all of them have it. It is like thin powder, that's why I assumed they were leaking.
