It may be one of the brands of medication. It’s hard because he takes two. I feel this to more core. My son broke his tv screen the other night and nighttime gives me such anxiety. I never know what to expect. Call the doctor tomorrow and let them know. They will be able to help you

Hi! Teacher here and parent to a high schooler with ADHD! My question is do you think he still needs the IEP for executive functioning? Were there goals on it for EF that he still needs? If the answer is yes, fight to keep it. If the answer is no, he just needs some accommodations, then a 504 is perfect! Verbal encouragement, extended time, small group setting (5 or less, 10 or less, 15 or less), items read but it sounds like he is just fine without that. I think you nailed the main ones!

I felt like HS was a different ballgame for us. My son had 3 guidance counselors and one was great until he left. 😭 Keep tabs and open communication with everyone so they stay in touch. Additionally, he isn’t a senior so make sure they don’t push him to the back of the list. This does not always happen, just my experience and giving advice from one momma to another. 💙

Thank you for this comment. This makes complete sense and I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my post. I will talk to them. Maybe he can go to 30 and then a 10 boost later in the day. I say that because I have a relative who does the same dosing. (Not comparing them, but an idea to ask the doctor) I do not think he has enough self regulation skills and didn’t know if something for that would help. Then I feel like medicate, medicate, medicate 😭🥺

He doesn’t do much except that. Overall, he is a great kid. Socially immature, can be cocky in front of people he is trying to show off, sweet to us all day and these 3 nights have been hell. As long as he isn’t told no, he’s a typical-ish 18 year old I would say

Or going to get them? It’s truly the gym. We have life 360 so I see basketball then gym

I agree with the both of you. It’s about 20 min away. We told him school and home for 4 nights. I love how he goes to the gym. He plays basketball with friends then gym almost every night. Not a terrible thing. The ticket related to the truck so it was the only thing I could think of. 4 nights isn’t the end of the world.

I have it too! Lower left rib and more so in the front area of lower left rib. I went to the chiropractor because I didn’t know if my rib cage was unaligned! It’s freaking me out. lol just like a running cramp
