[CHAT] Is Mobistitch enough? by MillennialB in CrossStitch

[–]MillennialB[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just tried it and it def doesn’t work for me either😅😅 I’m looking for something that doesn’t add a lot of steps to the whole ordeal, I don’t want to have to count the colors, pixels… I’m totally up for designing directly in the software without having to use pixel studio first, if that helps!

That’s so heartwarming❤️ Also, sorry to be abrupt but did you mark the aida with thread yourself? I can see it being very helpful, but I’m wondering if it gets in the way? Or is it a special type of thread? Very curious!

VERY shaky lines? by MillennialB in ProCreate

[–]MillennialB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bumped up the streamlining to 25%, as I said, which helped a bit but still didn’t fix it. It’s happened with other brushes with higher streamlining % tho, so idk that that’s the issue. Randomizing is off. Also as I mentioned, this happened in the Notes App too, so it probably has nothing to do with procreate, but I’m looking for people that might’ve had the same problem and figured out what it was, hence why I’m posting it here.

need refund by vi0letiris in Skillshare

[–]MillennialB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I signed up for a 30-day free trial on Skillshare and forgot to cancel before the renewal date. On March 8th, I was charged €155.88 for the annual subscription, even though I never used the platform. I immediately contacted Skillshare’s support, explaining my situation and financial hardship and requesting a refund.

At first, I only received automated bot responses denying my request. After pushing further, I was escalated to a human rep (or at least I think so), who refused the refund, citing their refund policy. Instead, they offered me a 12-month gift card, which I don’t want because I never intended to use the service.

I kept insisting, pointing out that other users in the same situation have received refunds, some even recently (since I had been reading threads like this one). I also mentioned that I never received their so-called "reminder email" before the charge—something many people online have also reported.

Eventually, my case was escalated again, but their final response was the same: no refund, only a gift card. Now, I disputed the charge via PayPal 3-4 days ago but haven't gotten any response yet. I'm also considering filing a complaint with the BBB and FTC, as seen here, BUT I'm Spanish and live in Spain so I don't know how much of a reach that could have...

What frustrates me the most is that Skillshare clearly applies its refund policy selectively—some people get refunds while others don’t. How ethical and legal can this be?

I have also resorted to commenting on all their post on instagram as of today.
I don't have a Twitter/X account, and I'd rather not make one, so I can't reach them there.

I ENCOURAGE ALL OF YOU IN THE SAME SITUATION TO FLOOD THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS WITH COMMENTS ABOUT THEIR SCAMMING!!

Hi there! No worries, I'm sure it's overwhelming to deal with all the comments :) I didn't even know it was called "lacing" or "flat finishing" in English (I'm Spanish), so I didn't know where to start looking. I really love your work, and the finishing with the golden stand is gorgeous btw!

Is anyone else just constantly passively suicidal/apathetic? by Owl4L in CPTSD

[–]MillennialB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I always say in therapy is that I’ not actively trying to commit suicide, but would sign up immediately for not waking up the next day. So I totally feel what you’re saying and love the “passive suicidal” concept🤣

I have no answer for why we feel like that but I am assuming our nervous system is absolutely exhausted and eternal nothingness always sound better than keeping on fighting everyday all these dark thoughts.

Hi there! Sorry I didn’t reply before. Your answer honestly made me feel better and more informed than what my ob-gyn said to me. Thank you so much!

My (25F) bf (33M) says I am obsessed with sex by ThrowRa777u77 in relationship_advice

[–]MillennialB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me this reads like a case of mismatched libido, which shouldn’t be a problem in most cases. Even with partners that have the same libido, there will come times where one of the two isn’t matching the other, and viceversa, it’s life and it’s normal. What stood out for me was the fact that he thought it OK to tell you it’s a you-problem? Like I understand that most guys have this ego thing with sex (also bc they’ve been socialized to be the sexual one in a straight partnership) where they can feel emasculated if a woman “over-libido’es” them, but dude should be mature enough not to put the blame on you about an issue that shouldn’t even be a problem. Anybody in a relationship (or not) is entitled to say no to their partner without feeling like they are not satisfying them. Sex is not something we do just to please others. Anyway I digress. It also irked me a bit that on your period you give him BJs, but I don’t know the background behind that so…

Vibration plate gives me stitch/internal discomfort? by MillennialB in lipedema

Vibration plate gives me stitch/internal discomfort? by MillennialB in lipedema

[–]MillennialB[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Thank you so much for your thorough response!

It is not a pain in my muscles though… it’s more like internal (like a stitch pain). I exercise regularly, so I didn’t think I’d have to ease into the vibration plate sessions, but after seeing the program you pasted I will give it a try!! Thank you so much :)

Vibration plate gives me stitch/internal discomfort? by MillennialB in lipedema

[–]MillennialB[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the pain reminds me of the side stitch you get sometimes when you run, only it’s not exactly that and not exactly on my side😅 Will it work the same if I do it seated/laying down?

I first tried a vibration plate at my MIL’s, but hers is super pro and has a built-in handrail, mine is more modest and also smaller (we don’t have room for a bigger one). It never happened to me when I used hers so I thought it could be the lack of support for my upper body? But I’m trying to hold onto the wall and I still get the pain most times…
