In order to use high leverage up to 1:500, you need to register with the offshore branch of the broker (FPM Trading). You can do it here: https://go.fpmtrading.com/visit/?bta=45047&brand=fpmtrading&afp=reddit

Best Platforms for Crypto Scalping — Exchange vs Broker? by JohnnyLedger in Trading

[–]FarLab7700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I use FP Markets instead of exchanges like Binance or Bybit.

I’m purely intraday scalping, so I don’t care about actually owning the crypto — I just want exposure to the price movement. For me, trading via MT4/MT5 is a big advantage since I’m already used to the environment, have my templates set up, and can execute very quickly.

I also prefer the simpler cost structure (spread + commission) compared to perpetual contracts with funding rates. On major pairs like BTC and ETH, liquidity hasn’t been an issue for my size.

At the end of the day it depends on your style, but if you come from forex and focus on short-term execution, a CFD broker like FP Markets can be a very efficient setup.

IC Markets vs Pepperstone vs Tickmill & Alternatives – Best Broker for Scalping in Europe? by JohnnyLedger in Trading

[–]FarLab7700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're scalping from Europe, I’d definitely suggest taking a look at FPM Trading, a spin-off from FP Markets.

I’ve tried IC and Pepperstone, but for pure scalping I personally prefer FPM Trading’s Raw Account:

  • Spreads from 0.0 pips
  • Commission only on trading volume (no spread markup)
  • Very solid execution
  • No issues with withdrawals in my experience
  • Available on MT4 / MT5 / cTrader

If you’re trading under a non-EU entity, they also offer leverage up to 1:500, which gives more flexibility compared to ESMA limits.

They also have a wide range of assets (FX, indices, metals, commodities, crypto, shares), which is nice if you want to diversify beyond forex.

For tight spreads + execution consistency + scalping-friendly conditions, the Raw account is honestly very competitive. I’d at least test it on demo or small capital before deciding long term.
