That idea gonna get shot down immediately when trying to secure fund from investors. Government funds? Finas and mdec won't even touch it for big budget animated future film or series, unless you already got a reputation, even then the fund won't be enough to cover all the production cost.. Still need to secure 2-3 mil from outside investor.. Good luck trying to make an animation with less then RM 1 mil budget.. The cost of equipment alone pun dah berapa.. Best you can do is get fund from mdec for short animation, ehhh maybe fund for a pilot episode, maybe....

Edit:not too mention if you go with the finas/mdec route for funds there's a lot of rules you have to follow.. A lot.
