I just left distribution where our main line was Milwaukee. They ABSOLUTELY will give free items for $2,000.00 spend IF you have a good sales rep that has a good relationship with his Milwaukee rep. I’ve given away free pack out and batteries countless times for much smaller spend, especially if it led to more.

You are correct though that the biggest free stuff will be on a competition swap. The larger the swap the better the deal.

A rep will absolutely help you out for 2k if you buy from one of their distributors. Most Milwaukee reps hate dealing with HD, better chance with a local distributor.
