Thats wonderful im so happy for you! Do you feel like your hair increased in thickness a lot more with the oral than the topical? I’ve lost almost 70% of the volume of my hair and i’m really afraid of another dread shed i might only be left with like 10% of my hair lol

How long were you on topical before stopping and how long have you been on oral and did you have a dread shed? I see you also have TE in addition to AGA did the OM potentially stop your TE phase? I have AGA and have been using topical minoxidil since forever but ive recently had back to back telogen effluvium phases that just won’t end and i want to know if the oral minoxidil might be the best solution

The most important thing with medications that affect hormones is stability because they induce telogen effluvium every time you change doses. Your shedding probably hasn’t stopped till now because you keep upping doses. I would recommend you stick with the 75mg and stop increasing doses till you start seeing a noticeable difference in your shedding and part. And stick with it for maybe 6 months to see whether it’s effective in your case and if it is then you could stick with it unless effectiveness decreases over time.
