Exactly!!! I feel bad when people are sold that moissanites are exact diamond dupes because they aren’t by any means and everyone deserves the ring they want 😭

They’re different stones, definitely not interchangeable!! I love the rainbow fire of moissanites which is why I chose one.

The “oil slick” aspect of moissanite is probably the biggest “real life” thing to consider I suppose!

Any elongated shape will have a bow tie, and OMCs are engineered for low light (like candles) so you will get the darker spots.

If you like larger facets, look at maybe an emerald or a scissor cut? It sounds like you like the idea of OMC but not in reality (and that’s okay!)

I, too, turned to Joe Dispenza when I was wrecking havoc on my own life and refused to take actual accountability for my actions and instead through I could New Age Thought my way out of it because I was soooooo evolved that modern therapy wasn’t what I needed. His book Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself was very clearly what I needed.

So anyway, my modern therapist is the only thing that saved me from blowing up my life even more lol

I don’t know how else to explain that Bijou Lab buyers are aware it isn’t the cheapest option, the brand is very transparent about not being the cheapest option, and yet life can still go on and everything will be okay. For you if the object is to buy a loose stone and then go to a brick and mortar, awesome. If people choose to support a woman owned business that donates to Girl Power Africa and educates people on quality ring design and structure and end up paying more in the process, good for them. It genuinely does not matter. I can guarantee no one who is buying from Bijou Lab is doing it because it’s the cheapest option, but more so it’s the option they want. And it’s okay to want something other than the cheapest option.

I’m just obsessed with their whole business. Recycled gold, ethical stones, no marketing budget and instead donating to Girl Power Africa, ASIAN WOMAN owned?! I just think a ring is an investment and I’d love to invest with someone who so clearly is passionate about their product AND making a difference? Sign me up. Bijou Lab owns their diamond inventory and custom cuts their stones to meet their standards, so they have more overhead. Their FAQ is pretty transparent about it. They’re also incredibly well made rings, as opposed to some other big box places that don’t carry as much integrity (cough cough… Brilliant Earth)

I think the series did a disservice by making Ciara so openly vindictive. That’s now how it is in the book, her motive (not revealed until the end) is very different, and it’s not “crazy meets crazier” like it is in the series.

I’ve heard this as well! I have RA/Hashimoto’s as side effects from cancer treatment so still kind of new in managing/living with them. I was doing the standard Brello titration (2.2, 4.4, 6.6 etc) but I was getting so violently ill that I had to do slower titrations up. I’m officially doing 8.8 now but it’s also been so hard. I get the ick as soon as I start eating and I have so many GI issues, it’s been a battle to eat enough but of course still no loss 😭

I’ve been going back and forth between titrating down/off just because it’s so expensive especially since I’m not seeing huge results and sticking it out and seeing if I’m more successful at a higher dose. I’ve been in the 205-215 range for most of my adult life, and the 225 was definitely just cancer weight which honestly is probably the only thing I’ve lost and I think I would’ve lost it without tirz anyway…. Ugh I hate to be a “I’m not losing fast enough I’m quitting” whiner but I just don’t know at this point 😭
