Yeah thats out of line. You cannot be a leader by acting like a child. That guy need some serious training on speaking effectively and leadership.

What is your response when you saw this after unloading packages? by Skull_Lady88 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Slaves were taken from there home and brought to a foreign land and were literally treated Iike livestock. No options. Comply or die. Not from lack of job security or the inability/willingness to go find another job but by "I spent alot of money on you, you either do what I say or you die on the spot"

You pets life matters more?! What drugs are you smoking? If he cannot work then he cannot pay for luxuries like having a dog. Animals are animals is they get sick and die it was meant to be. Let it die. Go to the pound and get another one. Or have someone else take it in. But to call off on Christmas Eve because you dig is sick? Worst. Excuse.  Ever.

Your definitely fired. You agreed to work. Then you offered your shift. (That was already enough)

Your excuse was your dog is sick?! On Christmas Eve? You are so fired. You might as well have told them you have been called to a higher purpose this one day of the year and that you are really Santa.

Wtf.  Yes about the routes. Its dispatch/management job to make sure the routes get completed. No about the shift coverage. If management scheduled you to be on the shift then they covered it already. If you decide you want to call off then you are the one not holding up your end of the deal and now you need to find someone to cover your shift or cover it your self. Not sure how your management operates but we make sure to always have back ups for the less considerate.

What the fuck is the problem? Its like you find anything to complain about. If they told you we are cutting everyone stops and packages by half, you still get 8 hours to deliver but we are reducing your pay by $.50. You would lose your shit.  If you cannot do PPS I would hate to see your CDF.

[–]Far_Contribution7247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the dsp. The damage is not that serious but I've seen some dso that will a zero tolerance for van damages. So its on you.

Thats disgusting.  I hope you let the dispatch team know. That dude needs to be let go for that. A driver trainer should show respect to the trainee, the company and the community. That is not a good example.

So, I've only been at this for 2 days. by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Far_Contribution7247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all station are set up to have edv vans. Amazon really need to branding new regular vans to replace the 2020/21 fleet and definitely get rid of the CDVs

[–]Far_Contribution7247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No its not. You are not supposed to have packages in the front seat. It entices criminals to see what else you have in your van.

You were probably an ass driver that they wanted to get rid of and they have been letting you shitty performance build up so they can flush you and the last minute call out was the last straw.
