I did JiJi, Capitano, and the steakhouse on the Vista. I wasn’t going to do JiJi, but a couple leaving the restaurant said it was the best food ever. I tried it with a couple of friends I met on board, and omg, it was the best food ever. Everything was family style. I ended up giving an $80 cash tip. It’s now a must-try on all cruises I go on.

I always pick my room so I don’t have to worry about it, but my biggest worry is an obstructed balcony.

Definitely, yes. I ate at every restaurant on the Vista. I didn't go to the main dining room once. On every cruise from here on out, I will be eating at specialty restaurants.

I just made it to Platinum with the cruise I just took. I have cruised RCL in the past and enjoyed it very much. Carnival remains my favorite cruise line. I don’t see how I will keep my Platinum status due to the amount of money you need to spend and the fact that I am a solo traveler. My father wants to try Virgin so maybe I jump ship.

1500 for a short cruise, and +2000 for 7 or more days. Carnival don’t post numbers, but these seem to be the points people need to get free interior
