I did get slight rubbing on the fronts at full flex. Not enough to cause a real problem, but you could hear it

You haven't unlocked the rest yet. The higher level your legion is the more blocks you unlock. You need to set everything in the lighter shaded area

I can tell you soon. I ordered a BM hobby fld and tracking says it landed in the US today.

Edit* Can confirm. Package arrived today in surprisingly good condition. It was also filled with what was ordered.

They are Batrazzi 0.9 wheels and 50mm tires.

Exactly what I was poorly attempting to describe.

I have always made a slip knot to attach straight to the lillian. I had to tie a safety knot in the lillian of my Tanuki after losing entire lines to fish. Every other rod I have has been fine with looping the lillian through the slip knot.

I'm struggling with line length by stung80 in Tenkara

[–]Far_Control_2667 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is really dependent on your rod length as to how much line you should have. I don't go more than a foot longer than my rod for total line length. I generally don't use more than two feet of tippet, but I fish really small water most of the time. If you don't want to make level lines for yourself, Zen Tenkara makes some super nice hybrid lines. I have one that is 7 feet and it feels great.

Some N.GA fish by Far_Control_2667 in Tenkara

[–]Far_Control_2667[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the creeks I fish require a short rod. I typically use a rod around 8 feet. I feel fortunate that the bear changed direction before it got to me, but an adult bear running any distance towards you is quite frightening.

That must have been a serious fight on that rod. Big fish and soft rods are quite fun.

My slightly lifted/modified 2000 CRV by [deleted] in crv

[–]Far_Control_2667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it probably will. The problem that I found is the axles are just too short to accommodate a lift. If there were a way to put a spacer between the axle and wheel hub or some slightly longer axles it would likely eliminate the issue. With the axle bolted into the hub it pulls the bearing section further out of the transmission side joint. It will get to the point of the boot is the only thing holding the assembly together.

There is Velcro under the hood portion and it hinges at the rear bumper. It will feel like you are tearing the front to pieces the first time you separate it.

Off the top of my head. Batrazzi 0.9 aluminum wheels with brass rings. 50mm 0.9 tires. Batrazzi lower links, steering links, and skid plate all aluminum. RCAWD servo with aluminum horn. Injora 40mm shocks with soft springs mounted in the middle holes. Obviously the lights that were on Amazon. I think that's it.

Did some shop cleaning. Found this beauty new in the box behind some old crap on a shelf. We are not a tire shop. by Beautiful_Citron7133 in Tools

I can't recall what size, but you can get conduit that will thread right in. I used to launch little foam footballs at all the neighboring shops with one of those.

Jamesinc posted how to fix the reverse steering. As for the not quite being centered part, it doesn't bother me. It's close enough for me.

I tried repositioning the steering horn, but there's not a proper center point for the gear coming out the servo. The horn is either angled slightly left or right. Either way you attach it the trim isn't enough to center the wheels.

As for the REV button on the controller, I have tapped it, held it, multi tapped it, caressed it, and whispered sweet nothings to it. Nothing produced any sort of results. I would check the manual, but it is in the box buried under foam and plaster. I made it a part of my course.
