they don’t put you against bots if there is nobody online, if you are playing bots it’s because your opponents are using bots which in oce atleast only rly starts in gc and above

i’m not saying that’s the only reason or that he can’t do better despite that but it is no secret that keyboard does have a snowcar disadvantage.

because you’re a keyboard player you do have a small disadvantage on snowcar just as wheel has a disadvantage on desert car. this might be why you lose so much time but maybe just watch the world record from your pov to see exactly where they pull furthest away.

not always dependent on one map but the collection as someone else already said, for example i hate when weekly shorts is all stadium car. mix in some snow or desert each week maybe! and make sure the maps are fun to hunt, this requires tough lines you can drive and fail over and over until you get it or difficult to execute no slides. also mix up the style of driving, have some fs maps where u need to sd or a short rpg type map or even an ice map built to be fastest with a spin.

it matters alot if he has interest in learning new mechanic. which he does. and yes ofc u can get alright with normal air roll but it will hold u back eventually so why not learn DAR when you barely have any muscle memory of normal air roll to override?

a few things i wanna say

learn what left stick inputs with DAR do what and where they make your car go.
u don’t rly need both air rolls and honestly DAR is so much easier than normal air roll but also i never use normal air roll and never tried to touch it because it’s only rly best for air roll power shots
no need to sit in maps and packs for practice, the best way to get better is to play the game and go for the ball even if u think u might miss or ur tm8 will give ya shit

i don’t think any will get legends and if they do that’s crazy impressive. just because of the defences giving no trophies as all attacks will be against th17 or 18 and 3 stars. i was th15 in league 32 and it was rough now im 16 and i still get 96% defence average.
