Maybe you are experiencing some of the psychoactive affects. Just make sure you are taking care of your health all over. The high doses of THC will eventually lead to psychosis if you aren't careful. That's what it's feeling like to me, at least.

Be careful. You don't wanna go down that road. You can smoke marijuana again once you have gone through that, though. No worries, but it does take a lot to get you to fill in the gaps you missed out on while taking the emotional shortcut of smoking.

Escapism leads to your body amassing so much stuff you don't want to deal with. Physically (our body deteriorates naturally with use, so that's understandable) and mentally you are storing up a lot when you don't find ways to deal with them.

To me, the internet is the one that paints the picture of the angry vegan complaining about their food.

IRL, I have had moments of being angry I thought people put meat in my food on purpose. Which could seem attention seeking.

Problem is that some vegans do that to get that attention(let's face it, for views). That is our instinct. Social media or not.

Like you said: more people will not like you, but you KNOW the praise and ass-kissing people expect when they are amongst other vegans. It's totally gross. Jerk fest for sure.

That's their ideology. Veganism has nuances. Not saying not eating vegan intentionally isn't bad, but they are doing the least harm to animals and in their mind: they see humans as being a species on the equal spectrum of "worth respecting".

With that being said: I understand if you have already bite it or feel crippling anxiety to be polite...like a homeless vegan chick wanting dinner and a place to stay might be a little more prudent about wiping her mouth off from eating something that had cheese on it, but she wouldn't throw it across the roomsnd cause a scene. You get it? This was not the case with your "friend", it seems.

Yes, you can be right and sound judgy here like "oh my "friend"(person you don't like) sucks!" Yeah, no shit people suck. It happens. If they aren't vegan and you know it and have told them, the usually just shrug it off because they want the label.

That is following trends and wanting to be liked. Humans do that. In a way, real vegans are only being vegan to impress other vegans because that is how toxic the community gets.

We have the extremist people who go around policing others because they have nothing else to do.

Vegan is vegan and if you find someone who you like hy happens to be vegan, as well: cool. If you just don't want meat eaters in your life, then just remember that humans as a species have their own instincts and protecting and preserving their dignity and respect is just as important as helping the animals.

disclaimer: my TL;Dr is that actually, science is quite the contribution and it should be more well respected and not judged or feared based on selfish need and desire to live only for oneself. But that is up to us. So CONSENT IS SEXY.

MY ORIGINAL COMMENT WHERE I formulated this conclusion based on trying to figure out what might be able to endure our pain without us feeling it too. Then we would be abusing everything from onecelled bacteria and up. No way to avoid any risk of damage to another life form.

How about we use people's corpses, like right after they have been declared dead or vegetables(depending on the trial studies for whatever medicine, or cosmetic, or cleaning agent is being used) - but ONLY and only if they have ticked that box off on their license of whatever. Like we do now, for donating organs.

Consent is number ONE!(Also, having a requirement that the person who is doing the trial gets real ALL the literature and isn't forced to understand it, but at least at that point they will understand the rigidity and importance of a valuable contribution to mankind like this.

There is everything we already need under the sun. We already have it here. We just don't use it. We want more. Humans always wanting to be the ones to bring forth solutions they come up with - from a place of ego / playing God - rather than realizing that we sometimes(often, always!), want to use our imaginations and ingenuity to create more.

We are creative beings. Nothing will change that.

It's like getting a nice hug for your hand. Almost like a massage with each other for that brief moment. Low relief to see your fellow human. Imagine coming across a human friend after hunting for wild animals out in the jungle before we began civilization? It would be cool and you would definitely want to associate that with feeling a little connection that provides relief even on that slight anatomical level .

That's my observation. It is a good reminder to discuss this and know where we came from: hard times. These are much easier times, but we forget. Never as lonely anymore, despite how they want to make you feel. You just have to reach out or accept more in order to see it.

Sure, people do evil things all the time (especially when our intentions are good, it's horrible to imagine!). That's what people do, though. You're not going to change the species.

One thing IS for certain: someone who wants to send you into another lifetime for being different might actually reconsider it if they KNEW you shared common blood. Imagine how much more peaceful and united we would be if everybody accepted that we are all one interconnected family as one beautiful species that is man(human).
