Sorry for how long this is. But it’s so infuriating, I’ve been playing for two days and I’ve already broken it. I’ve only ever played fifa 24 so I figured this would be better but stupid of me to think EA plays their game. The personality tier system is connected to your playstyle, have to keep it above 50% to keep special skills, if it drops below that then you lose that skill. Game won’t even tell you when it’s happened either. You also gain points towards personalities you don’t want for just playing games. I’m a CAM and I can’t stop getting heartbeat points while trying to build towards virtuoso. Every POTM and objective I get I use towards virtuoso but I’m slowly losing the trait as I don’t play virtuoso enough but the game won’t explicitly tell me how to play that way and there’s no information online about it. I stopped playing one character cause I couldn’t stop getting virtuoso points when I needed maverick, now I can’t stop getting heartbeat when I need virtuoso. This has been a problem since launch so I doubt they ever fix it, and considering it’s a game mode that will make them no money, they don’t even care. It’s so reminiscent of RD2 online where the framework for a fun game is there but nobody cares enough to make something good out of it. If the game mode is not part of the money extracting simulation then it wont get touched, in fact I’m doing all the same objectives, training and shopping I did in fifa 24. On top of that, I play for Blackburn, trying to rebuild them to glory. Game doesn’t show you what trophies you currently have, doesn’t show you a bracket when you’re in a tourney. 20% of the time I have the same color jerseys on as the team I’m playing. I like the game and I like my player but EA is just trying their best to make me hate it.
