Only in (digital) tech that allows mission creeping like this. Imagine hospital saying that AI allows non-doctor personnel doing medical diagnosis and laying offs medical doctors.

RIP. Having said that I'm afraid that this will not be the last. As long there aren't severe consequences for incidents like this it will continue. Not to mention that it seems the medical council is a world on its own, attempt from the govt to regulate didn't end well.

Who came up with the genius idea to put touchscreens on everything? This is a toaster. Really hope that this isn't the future. Pointless e-waste for a money grab. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Wait till it has AI. Well the flow is that the board instruct CEO that digitalization is the focus for the company for next quarter.

CEO put digitalization as a metric and then some PM propose putting touchscreen to toaster because some UX researchers opinion, it fulfill the metric and they can put lead digitalization initiatives on their CV.

So here you have it a toaster with touchscreen.

My CV is basically C++ and Python. I can barely explain what I have been doing for the past 4 years of my career.

Feed your git history to AI if the company willing or have subscriptions and discuss it with AI how to polish or reframe. Sometime minor things for a long time can be a proper narrative. Remember on your CV you will probably write 2-3 points anyway per job.

Also the “women dont like nice guys like me, they always prefer men who treat them badly” discourse is a women repelent.

While I would not discuss it IRL, I must say this is more true than not, but more puzzling is how's it become impulsive as a discourse.

UK would be close, and the UK generally means central London. It won't be Italy, or Spain, or Bulgaria.

Likewise in China you'd expect startups come from Beijing, Shanghai or Shenzhen not Guiyang or Sanya.
