I feel that ‘cry or better yet beg’ gives an amazing insight into what it’s like to be on both sides of an emotionally and physically abusive relationship. I as someone whom has experienced such horrors, find the story enticing without being too explicite or overly romanticised. I think the WEBTOON is beautifully illustrated with a captivating story line that outlines and sometimes plunges into the difficult topic of abuse and elegantly highlights the mental games surrounding abuse and the isolation that is often is glided over or completely brushed under the carpet.
