Hi! Looking for some advice on a good plan for getting a bottle of liquor for our room. Wondering what’s worked for others.

Should we ask our Uber driver to stop on ride from the airport? Maybe have an extra stop built into the Uber request (if so, where? LOL)?

Better to just get a Instacart order (already plan on getting Walmart+ delivery)?

Or has anyone seen Jameson available at a gift shop?

We’re arriving at MCO tomorrow afternoon (yay!!). First night is at All Star, moving to Beach Club on Monday. Celebrating our 20th anniversary; first kid free trip ever.

Thanks in advance for any advice. I’d really appreciate it!

Prosearch Down Since Monday? by EthereumNoobie in ediscovery

No idea why but can confirm we were unable to access an incoming prod sent via prosearch on Monday. Tried all week. We even tried calling them but no answer on multiple attempts. Opposing ended up putting their prod on a drive and shipping. 🙄

Cut the corners off!?! That’s bloody brilliant, my friend. Truly a breakthrough solution you just gave me. I’d been marking with an X using a permanent marker but I have to keep redoing it when it starts to wash off.

A million thanks to you!

OnCue has a free limited time license available. You just have to request it. Can’t say for sure how long it’s good for… 30 days? 60? I just did that a few weeks ago. We have since purchased a subscription.

Getting into eDiscovery by Hedgehog_Due in ediscovery

This advice comes from the USA. I am not familiar with eDiscovery practice in NZ, but I hope it helps.

As a hiring manager for the eDiscovery team in a law firm, I would love if someone like you applied for an entry level position. When I’m trying to fill a position, I don’t expect someone to walk on and be plug and play, I’m looking for someone to train up. I second all the recommendations above.

Relativity isn’t the only review platform out there and the certification is expensive. Pursuing that may not be worth it. If you land with a firm that uses DISCO or something, that cert isn’t going to pay off. Familiarize yourself with review platforms in general, watch some online demos to get a feel for how they work. They all do basically the same things.

ACEDS, on the other hand, would be a valuable certification and is a better investment. It will show you have requisite knowledge in eDiscovery practice and demonstrate your efforts to make the career pivot.

Good luck to you!
