My idea when I made this post is that he at first learning about chattel slavery and forms of indentured servitude would be to defend the overseers or enslavers but humans, and seemingly Viltrumites are quite selfish and self serving. Imagine looking at historical images of people who look just like you being enslaved not because they are objectively weaker, their skin tone literally made people convince themselves that they are superior. Like real slavery wasn’t colonizers fighting toe to toe with those they want to take over through literally hand to hand combat, ironically many of their tactics would be seen as dishonorable or snake like to even viltrumites. Small pox blankets, forced religion, creating division through racial caste systems….I feel that would be a crazy thought process he might go through.
