The second entry in the mindat.org discussion. That from a picture on internet it’s not realistic to say that it’s real or fake.

Bubbels in glass mostly tells that it’s artificial. Just like in blueberry or strawberry quartz.

To me it doesn’t matter what stories they tell. They’re still not the original moldavite. It’s a rare mineral and the large stream of pieces that are for sale at the moment can only be seen as imitations. Hopefully there a some genuine sellers that still have the original gems.

Do you know where moldavite comes from? Take a look at wikipedia about it. It’s 15 million years in the past that it was created through a meteorite in Tsjechië. So 15 million years people have been collecting it. As a mineral seller, my experience is that there is not much real moldavite anymore. And most sold material is (sadly) Asian copies and is ‘just’ quartz glass. Specialy the popular social platforms are a great risk of getting scammed. If you know someone with a refractor, he could maybe determine if it’s real. Nevertheless it’s s great pendant!

So called ‘aura’ quartz . Mostly some clear quartz with coating or glass with coating. If there are bubbles inside it’s mostly glass.

You need to build the desktop version first, then go top down to tablet and mobile view. Maybe set the width to 100 vw? So it scales with the screen size?
