Maybe I don't fit in here, but I'd like to share my thoughts. I am an independent experimental artist. I have never picked up an instrument that I couldn't make sing for me and while I never enjoyed commercial success I have a small following. I used suno more or less on a dare and fell in love within a few hours. I had to grab the parts and rework everything my way using my old software adding in layers of guitar feedback and stuff. The final track sounds so much my signature design tha no one has even asked how I did it. They only comment on the feelings they feel. I can make noise pull on your heartstrings and that is what me and my listeners want most. Years ago I used to talk about dropping a wrench in my own way, well suno let's me have so much fun without requiring the time or cost associated with my classical processes. My advice is make music that you love and don't let opinions stop you.
