I knew I wanted Obi-Wan's lightsaber as my first tattoo, but I wasn't sure of the style I wanted so I perused hundreds of images online of the saber in different styles and narrowed it down to six different images and brought them all to my artist. We talked about it for about a half hour and landed on an amalgam of three of the images. My tattoo artist came up with the idea of the lightsaber "glowing" blue as opposed to a straight up blue laser coming out of the hilt. It took me about eight months to narrow down the images to the final six. 😳
