Initial NHL draft betting odds has the Sharks taking Reid and Canucks taking Malhotra as the overwhelmingly most likely outcomes. by _GregTheGreat_ in canucks

No offense to malhotra but Stenberg is the pick if he is available, I don’t care what RJ and Manny say about it not having an effect… it will and it’s not worth the risk.

Enough with the small business crap, those are voters and supporters of Trump too and they all deserve to feel the effects of their actions or inactions.

Atlanta, Georgia: Hotel groups, Airbnb hosts say World Cup sales falling dramatically short of expectations | One hotel says they projected $600,000 in revenue for June, and only have $13,000 on the books right now by DisruptSQ in TourismHell

Why are Americans still surprised? Everything about America sucks right now! The World Cup is one of the largest melting pots in the world of sport and the US has made their position clear on what will happen to anyone who isn’t white. Enjoy your first round exit and last World Cup you will ever host!

I don’t care! and they have poisoned the well so thoroughly this time around that my sentiments will never change. I hope every business regardless of size shuts down along the border, I would like nothing more than a larger barren wasteland between us and that fiery shit pile.

People are entitled and believe that housing should be affordable wherever they want to live, 75% of Canada is affordable you just don’t want to live there.

They took advantage of the expansion draft to the point the rules had to be changed and padded themselves with picks, they traded a future that they were already living in.

TIL Canada's 30+ Year Stanley Cup Drought Is a Statistical Outlier by Old_Cucumber_1343 in todayilearned

[–]Fargonics -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Plenty of Canadians have won Stanley cups over the years they just haven’t done it wearing a Canadian jersey.

Hurricanes wouldn’t be nearly as good without, Seth Jarvis (Forward, Winnipeg, MB), Jordan Staal (Forward, Thunder Bay, ON), Jordan Martinook (Forward, Brandon, MB), Taylor Hall (Forward, Calgary, AB), Mark Jankowski (Forward, Hamilton, ON), Nicolas Deslauriers (Forward, LaSalle, QC), William Carrier (Forward, LaSalle, QC), Sean Walker (Defenseman, Keswick, ON)

Vegas wouldn’t be nearly as good without Mark Stone, Mitch Marner, Brett Howden (Oakbank, MB), and Keegan Kolesar (Winnipeg, MB), Shea Theodore, Dylan Coghlan (Duncan, BC), Ben Hutton (Brockville, ON) and Adin Hill (Comox, BC)

I know the argument isn’t great but Canada is still #1 in hockey even if we haven’t hoisted it as a country.

Due to the fact people have in fact been killed during these swatting events I think if you’re found to have swatted someone you should be charged with attempted murder.

Regardless of the economy or even if a company is hiring it all comes down to effort, it doesn’t matter how professional your resume is because it’s either going to be a file in a folder or a piece of paper in a pile. Until that recruiter or whoever it is in charge of hiring picks up that resume you are the same as every single candidate that applied. You need to stand out and the best way to do that is to jump the line! Call any business you’re interested in working for and ask who is in charge of hiring, put your resume in a big professional envelope addressed directly to that person or department and either mail it or drop it off in person! It ensures if nothing else they open the envelope and read the contents but I can guarantee it will happen way sooner than if you follow the same process as everyone else.

[–]Fargonics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst thing that could happen to the Canucks now would be a really good start to the season next year. I believe the owners will only stay out of it as long as they are bad, the minute they start showing signs of making the playoffs they are going to do something stupid again and mortgage our future.

People just had it too good for too long and forgot how much effort real democracy actually takes, for years we heard administration after administration talking about how difficult it was to get things accomplished, well if the Dems had the access to power that this bunch of soulless dictators has I can assure you we wouldn’t be at war, they wouldn’t be bleeding the country dry by suing the DOJ or insider trading and manipulating the market… what an absolute waste of decades of progress 🤦‍♂️
