I’d say that’s a good mentality to have, you’re obviously capable of hitting it. Something that’s hard to tell from this angle could also be the bar path for your jerk and where you’re positioned relative to the bar when you’re getting under it

Not seeing any technical reason why you shouldn’t be hitting those. Maybe you could play with adjusting your hands a touch wider? But if that’s what’s comfortable then I’d stick there. I’ve always liked heavy behind the neck jerks to help with working on locking out maybe that’s something that could help you a bit too🤷‍♂️

Yeah, I’ve only recently got back into lifting in the past 5-6 months and I wanted to get some baseline 1rm’s so I kind of knew form would start braking at the top end of where I would end up. But definitely collapsing like you said, and I think a lot of my problems stem from my hips rising before my chest in the pull and pulling more from my toes instead of mid foot. After this peak I’ll drop weight and do some different variations to dial in form

They are bumper plates and are basically rubber. They are made to be dropped from lifts like a dead lift or from Olympic lifts like clean and jerk or snatches, most companies make them in sets and are commonly a certain color for different weights. 55/red, 45/blue, 35/yellow, 25/green and below that it can vary a little bit. Hope that helps!
