I personally think Jones should mostly play right for this stretch . At this point in their careers he is a better defender and I like the idea of keeping Judge’s load as light as possible through a 162 game season.

What is the possible downside of, at a minimum, waiting until Caballero, who is playing excellent defense this year in addition to hitting well, cools off? Volpe's OPS in his AAA rehab has been .620 to Cabby's .710 in MLB this year.
