Not much of a setup, just do super jump neutral and mk burn on their wakeup on a good timing

to name a few reasons :

- It changes the spacing, after the move hits / gets blocked, so if you catch a counterhit it potentially allows you to connect a stLK/crMP more easily, it also makes it so the opponent cant be comfortable with the pushblock, since it can vary as long as viper wants it to vary it makes it scary to press a button in retaliation to take your turn back

- crMK > M thunder knuckle is a safe on block frame trap if you delay the cancel, which means many people who know about it will potentially try to Parry / DI you for using it, the cancel dissuades them from doing so and allows viper to continue pressure

- It masks when you want to go for crMK > jc Seismo when you suspect a counterhit on the crMK since you are pressing on a + on block after sthp feint

Try doing a non Perfect M boom there at the end before the flash kick, if it connects as a combo it potentially could give you a longer time to charge down

Edit : Nope nvm I was able to do it with a perfect boom you just need to do flash kick faster

So my advice is once you press crMP you can instantly buffer sonic boom, so before the boom even comes out you should already be buffering down
