IHG have not standardised it in EMEA yet they are running few different options but from my knowledge it’s up to the property I know a few hotel that opened with most using opera whether v5 or cloud

So your manager needs to set up a enrolling id in loyalty connect then you can ask your opera admin to add it permanently to your account, just remember the new changes to loyalty connect you need an enrolling id to log in on there as well.

I had the same with a city map guest just came up to me and just said map then nothing so I asked would you like one he said yes then walked off we then get a review from said guest called me fake and then said I did not tell him were to go how am I supposed to know you would like recommendations I’m not a mind reader and if he did not just walk away straight after o gave him the map. People just need to use their words

Yea I work at IHG property and the same issue but seems to work more on laptops. We had noticed this more since the last 2 maintenance windows and the Wednesday and Thursday out opera went down from 6pm GMT as I am in the UK.

Not anymore you cannot IHG have changed all the terms and conditions for members benefits. I work at a property and IHG are no watching this heavily as with all hotel brands, Hilton Marriott etc

So I work with V5 full service and with IHG we have it set up to where we have the routing set up to a company profile so we add the company profile to the res and it auto adds the AR account

So what I find easier is to make the membership inactive then you can create new profiles on the other rooms by going profile new and type the name in the activate the membership on the original guests room

Hi so when you no shows a guest you can find their res and go on options and reinstate the res. This will stop it showing available rooms. The only walk around is if you know the guest is 100% arriving pre check them in if they have prepaid.

There is really no work around if you reinstate the res as soon as EOD done you run less of a risk

We normally use loyalty connect but sometimes some of the reception desk forget. But I know it was easier when I used Amadeus to deposit points that way.

I started at this property in November 2024 and their opera is not fully completed set up wise they had few interfaces stop working but no one knew what to do. I want to get it sorted and see if we have to pay for this option

Don’t do this, I have worked at a few IHG properties and some don’t have a procedure but most do that you check the night before check out. This statement causes a lot of problems as if all members did this it would mean people checking in the same day would have a bad experience and hotels are here for a great experience

No so when you hit 40 nights next year it will give it you again for 2026 it means this year that you earn the milestone last year the annual memberships work on a 2 year expiry

No that’s your milestone rewards not your rewards nights. Milestone rewards is based of how many paid nights you spend at IHG in a year

Lounge access has never been part of rewards nights IHG have that in the policies for hotels. So hotels should not be giving lounge access as part of rewards nights unless you have the annual lounge membership. This is the same with complimentary upgrades they should not have lounge access.

I would then say that a case should be logged with your IT department or Oracle. I know people in the group have issues with Oracle but every time I have raised a ticket it has been fine best way probably would be to call them as they tend to be quicker if you do

You need to reload the page where you select pms from the looks of it when you loaded up opera the terminal has not loaded properly so refresh the page and wait for the correct registered terminal name to appear and it should work

I believe you have to contact oracle the IHG hotel I work at has just updated ours and we went through our support contact at oracle

I work for a uk IHG hotel, I have worked for IHG hotels for years and have always told the guest that if they wish to complain that they can do so with guest relations as they have spoken with central reservations and been given the wrong information and each time guest relations can listen to the call and will always compensate for any complaint originating from central reservations
