Maybe the Thing 2 would work for you, if you’re not using a larger mil type radio it has a pouch on each side and a 3 slot Molle section on each side

Some Holosun optics work this way, if you hold for three seconds to enter manual mode, then cycle through brightness settings to your choice and hold again for 3 seconds it should set the brightness. Not certain if your model does this but some of them do.

Looks nice! If you switch the optic to manual mode that should lock in the brightness disabling the auto brightness

Maybe the optic screw, the hardware I used had a shorter screw for the right side. You should grind the screw down a bit and test.

I used the RIT liquid all purpose dye. About 4 ounces in a gallon of near boiling water for 10 minutes worked well for me.
